Three ways to reduce temptation

Prevent entry
- Bring pets inside if baboons are in the area.
- Keep pets out of the way if baboons enter.
- Never set a dog on a baboon as this can lead to serious injury to both animals.
- Leash dogs if walking where baboons are ranging.

Keep food out of sight
- No food should be visible through windows, even fake fruit.
- Feed pets inside.

Manage waste
- Use upright baboon-proof dustbins provided for your waste.
- Do not overfill the bin so that the lids cannot close fully.
- Only put refuse bins out before 7:30am on the day of collection.
- Do not leave black bags outside bins or on the pavement.
- Drop off household waste next to Voëlklip OK Supermarket.Bring pets inside if baboons are in the area.

Feeding is illegal and undermines coexistence.
